Hi everyone,
Elder Jensen and I arrived in Nauvoo on May 24th. 2015. It has been a whirlwind since that day. In fact today is the first day we had a little time to do something personal such as enter a post in our blog. We want to thank Pam for creating this lovely blog for us and helping us dummies learn to post and etc. We are excited to let you all know about the wonderful amazing experiences we are having while serving here. We are one of the lucky ones with a fairly nice home and a beautiful view. When we pull into our driveway each night we stop a moment and solve all the worlds problems while looking over the beautiful green hills and trees and the beautiful city of Old Nauvoo and extending to the Mississippi River. It is breathtaking view. We live in a white house 1/2 block from the Nauvoo Temple (on Well's street located on the south/west corner of the Temple). If I can do it right I will attach a few photos taken from our parking lot and of our house. Within the Nauvoo Mission they call this the white house. Every missionary home has a name. There are many homes housing the 200 missionaries all over Nauvoo. Some are really nice and some are not so great. One couple lives in a tiny tiny home with three levels. Basement to do laundry, main floor tiny front room and tiny kitchen and then upstairs to bedroom. Another couple has a large home even a walk in closet.....we feel very lucky to have a home that is kind of in between. We love our home it is sort of like playing house :) We are getting to know each other again. Wow! that can be a challenge sometimes. But were loving it. ** I am having trouble downloading photos and a short video so I will send this as is and try next time. Love you all!! Our prayers are with you every day. :)
